El Valle Sagrado The Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley has become in recent years, one of the most important destinations in South America, it is the Urubamba River Valley and is known worldwide as the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
This day we will visit the famous Sacred Valley, worldwide known due to its hidden mystery between myths and legends; it has an impressive beauty and archeological sites. We will pick you up from your hotel around 7:30 – 8:00 am. The first place we will visit is the traditional Pisac market famous by its handicrafts and silverware, and then we will head toward to Pisac ruins located on top of the hill. At this site we will appreciate the amazing agricultural terraces, water fountains, religious center, urban sector and Inca cemetery, our guide will explain more about the Inca’s customs and lifestyle; and also how take as an advantage the resources given by nature.
As we continue with our tour. We will drive along Vilcanota River, where we will appreciate the villages of Coya, Lamay, Yucay that are also part of the Sacred Valley, we will reach Urubamba where you will enjoy of a delicious buffet lunch. Our next stop will be the town of Ollantaytambo, known as the alive Incan town. There, we will visit the archeological site; it’s more important temples and precincts. After this amazing visit, we will move towards the train station to board our train on Aguas Calientes direction, the trip will last about 1:45 min.
Overnight at Aguas Calientes
After you enjoyed breakfast, we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu (2250masl.) this ride will take about 40 minutes. On the arrival to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu you will have a 2-hour guided visit to learn more about its Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Urban Sector, the Temple of the Three Windows and an Incan Cemetery. After your guided visit, you will have some free time to wonder around Machu Picchu at your leisure.
At the most opportune time, we will once again take the bus and return down to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take you to Ollantaytambo train station, where our private transportation is awaiting us to get back to Cusco.

Huayna Picchu Mountain has a steep and narrow path, in some part of the hike you il encounter stone stairs. The walk takes about 2 hours in total.
Machu Picchu Mountain, on the other hands is less steep and the walk is way longer taking approximately 4 hours in total.
