Hydroelectric towards hot waters this hike will take us approximately 2 hours. The road that runs is parallel to the train tracks, this part of the trip is jungle, so it is recommended to use mosquito repellent, the walk is on flat terrain so the level of demand is moderate.
We will pick you up from your hotel around 7:00 am. Our bus ride will start then we will take the route through the Sacred Valley paved road, we will be able to observe some local towns such as Ollantaytambo from where we will start the ascend until reaching the highest point of the route Malaga’s Abra (4316 masl) and from here we will commence our descend toward the Hydroelectric, where we will start our walk to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).
As we departure from the hydroelectric to Aguas calientes in a 2-hour walk. The hike is walk along the train rails through the humid forest, where we highly recommend you to use repellent and the walk is considering easy to moderate as the path is flat and do not demand much of our energy.  Once in Aguas Calientes we will settle in our hotel, where our guide will give us some last instructions for the following day exciting adventure.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes
Today, we will have an early start, at 4:00 pm we will head to Machu Picchu in a 1 hour and a half walk approximately, our goal for today is to watch over the sunrise of Machu Picchu and be the first ones to arrive. We will have a 2 hour guided tour through the most important spots of the citadel, after that you will have some time to enjoy Machu Picchu at your leisure.
Later on, and after your Machu Picchu visit around 11:00 am, we will return to Aguas Calientes and then we will start our walk back to the hydroelectric, where our transportation will be awaiting us to take us to Cusco. The bus will depart at 14:30 pm
