We will move away from the bustle of the city and we will go to the most beautiful places of the sacred valley of the Incas flanked by the snow-capped mountains of Salkantay and Veronica. We will begin our visit with Chinchero, we will appreciate the beauty of the place and its incredible agricultural terraces, also here we will have the opportunity to participate in the demonstration of the weaving and dyeing of alpaca wool, famous for the use of ancestral techniques and with a unique quality in Your textiles
As we make our way and left behind the bustle of the city and we head towards the most beautiful spots at the Sacred Valley of the Incas, decorated by snow peak mountains such as Salkantay and Veronica. We will begin todays adventure in Chinchero to appreciate the beauty of the place and incredible agricultural terraces, also here we will have the chance to participate in a textile demonstration and how the alpaca wool is dyed, famous for the use of ancestral techniques and high and unique quality of its textiles. We will continue with our excursion and visit Moray, this archeological center has peculiar characteristics of which many chroniclers report that it was an agricultural research laboratory. All these due to the layout of its terraces that has a circular shape on each one of them where different microclimates can be found, from cold to warmer temperatures. In this development center was possible to adapt more than 350 varieties of plants coming from different ecological floors. Our next visit is to Maras Salt Mines where we will be able to find more than 400 salt wells, this saline outcrops are located on the skirts of the famous mountain Kachi Qata. This mine had a highly value during the Inca time as much as in the colonial times, and it was used on daily basis as much as for the meet conservation (dehydrated meet). Nowadays, the mine is still of great used and due to its quality its exported to Europe and Asia.
