Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (2000 masl), the train journey is 1 hour and 45 minutes, during the route we will observe the spectacular beauty of nature and abundant flora of the area, crossing the captivator landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes the hotel staff or the transfer will be waiting for your arrival at the train station..
We will pick you up from your Hotel for transfer to the train station in Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train that will take us to Aguas Calientes (2000 masl), this trip is for 1 hour and 45 minutes; we will observe the spectacular beauty of nature and abundant flora typical of the area. Arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes one person will be waiting for you at the train station. We will have the afternoon free to visit the town (optionally you can enjoy the thermal baths of this place or the museum of Machu Picchu). Between 7:00 to 8:00 pm, the guide will come to your Hotel for a talk about the guided the next day in Machupicchu.
Overnight in Aguas Calientes
After you enjoyed breakfast, we will board the bus that will take us to Machu Picchu (2250masl.) this ride will take about 40 minutes. On the arrival to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu you will have a 2-hour guided visit to learn more about its Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Solar Clock, the Urban Sector, the Temple of the Three Windows and an Incan Cemetery. After your guided visit, you will have some free time to wonder around Machu Picchu at your leisure.
At the most opportune time, we will once again take the bus and return down to Aguas Calientes to board the train that will take you to Ollantaytambo train station, where our transportation is awaiting us to get back to Cusco.

Huayna Picchu Mountain has a steep and narrow path, in some part of the hike you il encounter stone stairs. The walk takes about 2 hours in total.
Machu Picchu Mountain, on the other hands is less steep and the walk is way longer taking approximately 4 hours in total.
